Q: Why do I have to submit my purchase information? Why doesn't GetUrGadget.com track my purchase?

A: Since we have affiliations with many different companies, there's currently no way for us to completely follow your tracking. You could make several purchases and have a separate transaction for each one of the merchants. In many cases, you'll only have one transaction.  Even with our affiliations with some of the larger linking services, there is no way for us to know what you do and where you go…and when you think about it, isn’t that a good thing ?
 

Q: Do I make a commission on the whole order?

A: You make a commission on the price you paid for the item(s). We do not make a commission on shipping, handling, tax or any other charges imposed by the merchant separate from the price you paid for the item(s).  So if you bought a gadget for $100.00, paid $7.00 shipping & handling, and 7% tax, your commission is based on the $100.00 only.

 

Q: Wow, this is really great!  How do I tell what my commission, flat fee or referral bonus is?

A: The quickest way is to click  List of Merchants and Payouts. Each one has the TOTAL payout for that company.  Members will 50% of what their payout is to us. It can be anywhere from 1% - 25%, you would receive commission based on a specific product or promotion they offer. We have no control of the percentage, and sometimes you may not know what your commission total will be until we receive it.  And commission structures are subject to change, so if a specific merchant is currently paying 5%, it make go up or down next month, and so on. We try to keep our list up to date as much as possible, but as you can see, it’s a huge list.

 

Q: What if I purchase an item from a company and I'm a member of their rewards program. Do I lose my reward points from them?

A: NO! Any membership programs you are signed up for now or join in the future, and are separate from us are just that - separate from us! They don't know you are a member of our service, so your membership here would in no way affect any membership you have with them. So you can benefit even more!

 

Q: Who is GetUrGadget.com, and how do I know I’m going to get paid?  

A: We are a service of Unicom Information Services, and located in Lewis Center, Ohio (just north of Columbus.) Unicom was founded in 1991, and has been involved with many businesses over the years. Our largest company is Unicom Computer Services, founded in 1994. We operate online at www.unicom-pc.com, and on eBay at unicom1 since 1999 with a feedback score of over 670 and a 99.9% positive feedback percentage.  We are also a PowerSeller and a member of eBay’s Trading Assistant program.  Other Unicom services include Geturnet.com (domain registration a full service web hosting and development, plus online marketing and creative design . 1 -  Refer someone to our web site. You must currently be a member of GetUrGadget.com in good standing..

2 – The person you referred must sign up for our membership and indicate where noted that you are the referrer. They must include YOUR valid Membership ID (email address) in the application where noted.

3 – Both parties (referrer and referee) must be a member in good standing for a period of at least 60 days,and must make at least one purchase of $25.00 or more during the 60 day period before bonus is paid.

4 - Refer as many people as you want - there is no limit. But you
can only refer one person per household

5 – After 60 days, the member who made the referral will receive a credit of $6.00 per approved referral.  See Making A Purchase & Getting Paid on this page for payout information.

6 – Be sure your application for membership has been accepted and you have your Membership ID BEFORE referring anyone to our site or you may not receive referral bonus.

7 – Any dispute regarding referral bonuses is at GetUrGadget.com  and Unicom Information Services discretion, and our decision is final.

Qualifying For a Commission

1 - You must be an approved current member of our service in good standing.  

2 – All purchases must be made online by access our web site, GetUrGadget.com, then accessing merchants provided by links on our site.
3 – We suggest clearing cookies stored on your computer via your web browser  before clicking on links from  our web site to insure you get credit for your purchases. Also make sure you do not have a 3
rd party cookie disabling program activated on your computer while you access our site.  This will help insure you are tracked properly and get credit for your purchases. We are not responsible if you aren’t tracked.

4 – You must go through our web site, click on a link (text or banner), and place an order. You do not get paid for just browsing GetUrGadget.com or our merchant’s web sites.   

5 – You must submit to us proof of your purchase for each company where you made a purchase.  
What Does Unicom Need From You After You Make a Purchase?
Please submit to us at info@geturgadget.com:

- your membership ID (email address you used to sign up)

- which company(s) did you make a purchase

- customer order number from company you made purchase

- date and time of purchase (if exact time isn't available, please provide approximate time)

- total amount of purchase to include item(s) price, total, shipping, handling and tax if applicable.  ALL THIS INFORMATION WILL BE  EMAILED TO YOU BY
PARTICIPATING MERCHANTS. Simply cut & paste to us. NOTE: We do not need your credit card or banking information, so PLEASE DO NOT SEND TO US!

 

How Long Does It Take To Get Paid?

    Typically it will be after we receive payment.  We will not delay your payment if, for example, if on your order one merchant pays us after 15 days and another takes 60 days. you would get credit for any commissions paid to date.  

     After we receive payment you will receive your commission payment via Paypal (no service charge) or by company check ($1.50 USD service charge) to address on file. Other payment options will be added later.  There is NO MINIMUM payment via Paypal, but there is a minimum payment via check which is $10.00 USD per any given month.  Accumulated or total amounts less than $10.00 USD will roll over to next month.  You can check with us no more than once a month to receive your balance information.  Balances under $10.00 that do not qualify for payout for a period longer than 3 months (you become inactive) will be forfeited and go into our PAYOUT POOL.  

 

What is the PAYOUT POOL?  
Any account that goes inactive (no purchases within a 3 month period), or an account that is disqualified that violates our Terms of Service, and said account has a balance will  go into what we call our Payout Pool. This money will be distributed either (1) uniformly  out to all active members as a BONUS, or (2) in a drawing from all active members as a gift card to one of our participating merchants.  The distribution of this money will be determined by Unicom Information Services, and their decision is final.

 

Reasons you might not receive credit for your purchase...

1 – DISABLE COOKIES - We have no way of tracking your order if you have disabled your cookies. Also, we suggest clearing your cookies right before you access our web site so your computer is clean, but this is not necessary. The important thing is:  COOKIES MUST BE ENABLED FOR ANY OF US TO GET PAID!
2 – You did not go through our web site, click on a link, and place an order.  You need to get through us so we receive credit for your purchase and you are tracked properly.

3 – You are not a current member of GetUrGadget.com, or  have not been approved for membership prior to accessing our merchants.

4 - - You returned item(s) you purchased within the merchants grace period, usually 30 days.  Please notify is if you plan to return something so we are aware of it. That will help!

5 – If our affiliates have no record of your transaction(s) or placing an order.  This is usually a result of having your computer cookies disabled, or some other kind of  computer program issue interfering with this information. We apologize for this, but if we have no record of your transaction, none of us gets paid.
